Project Description
Vertigo Marketing was awarded the annual contract to develop and implement a communication plan for the Oregon Destination Marketing Organizations (ODMO). ODMO represents a statewide network of members ranging from destination marketing organizations (DMO), convention and visitor bureaus, and chamber of commerces that all work together for a stronger Oregon tourism industry. Tasks include:
1) Develop Communications Content
- Develop and draft an editorial calendar for monthly ODMO communications in conjunction with key ODMO staff
- Create blog content based on editorial calendar
- Assist with annual report and other ODMO communications
2) Email Communications
- Set up email marketing software platform; Design and develop responsive email template and a custom industry email newsletter to communicate monthly tourism updates; Email list management and segmentation
- Content creation for email communications
3) Update ODMO Website with Content
- Post video, articles and communications to ODMO website
- Seed topics on message board and make recommendations for fresh content based on tourism industry news and trends
